Revelation 1:20
What is “50 Lampstands?” Simply, it comes from the Bible. Revelation 1:20 names the newly planted churches from the New Testamant “lampstands.” We strive to plant new lampstands in a dark place so the light of Jesus will shine.
New Church Plants in India! An exciting mission opportunity started in 2009 to plant 50 new churches in India is in its second phase in Chennai, India in February 2012. Oversight will be by the Elders of the Simi Church of Christ in Simi Valley, California with assistance by the Choolaimedu Church of Christ, Chennai.
Praise the Lord! In three previous trips in the last four years, teams from congregations all over the western United States came in contact with over 8,000 people and over 650 souls were baptized! Churches were established and dedicated, medical clinics were funded, orphanages were funded, and lives were forever changed!
Our brothers and sisters in India await our arrival! With the help of Dr. Paul Renganathan and Preacher/Translators from the World Bible College in Chennai, we will again travel halfway around the world to one of the most fertile missionary fields on the planet,India.
What can I do? First and foremost, pray and pray and pray! We need the guidance and direction of our Father God. Second, spread the word! Let everyone you know that we are looking for prayers and financial assistance. Every dollar donated will go to preach the Word and put a Bible in a new believer’s hands.
